All glaze formulas are created from scratch in Val do Sol.

Some glazes are the result of historic research, some are obtained by artists cooperation, others are
experimental. We use non processed raw materials to achieve a more natural look.

Then the melting component of the glaze is adjusted in order to match our standard kiln temperatures.

Dressing the clay body with the perfect glaze is process that requires a very well balanced creative and
scientific process.
